Access Center
|

|
Individuals are assessed at the Access Center to determine the most appropriate placement for treatment at White Oaks. The final decision regarding the type of care is up to the individual. If the program that is the best fit for the individual is full, START NOW provides daily treatment and support as the individual waits to enter the more structured setting.

Detoxification Unit
|
|
The Whitman Medical Unit is a 10-bed emergency medical detoxification unit for individuals who may be at risk of withdrawal from alcohol and other drugs. The unit is staffed with nurses and support staff around the clock and provides medication interventions to stabilize individuals during one to five day stays.

White Oaks Knolls
|
| White Oaks Knolls is a residential alcohol and drug treatment facility located in a private wooded landscape. Men support their recovery by learning new skills and discovering their own strengths. Services offered included individual counseling, family counseling and educational modules. Involvement with mutual aid and community support groups such as Alcoholics Anonymous are available. White Oaks Knolls offers a variable length of stay based on individual needs. |

Men's Recovery Management

Men's Recovery Management (MRM) is a partial day and intensive outpatient substance abuse clinic for men. MRM is for men who need substance abuse treatment but can progress without a 24 hour supervised residential program.

Continuing Care
|
|
Primary treatment, either in the residential or intensive outpatient program, is only the first path on the road to recovery. Participation in Continuing Care is central to the success of both treatment programs. White Oaks Continuing Care gives men the tools they need to meet the demands of life while continuing their recovery. Participants meet once a week and focus on relapse prevention.

New Leaf
Residential Program

New Leaf offers a variable length of stay based on individual needs. Our holistic approach promotes recovery in all aspects of a woman's life.
|
|
|
At New Leaf women support their recovery by learning new skills and discovering their own strengths. Services include individual and family counseling, educational modules and physical activities. Involvement with mutual aid and community support groups such as Alcoholics Anonymous are available. Specialized services are also offered for pregnant women.
New Leaf Retreat is a modern, attractive facility that provides a warm and comfortable environment. Two or four-person suites are available. The prairie landscape and the serene wooded surroundings inspire courage and hope.

CICTA
Residential Program
|
|
This program is partially funded by the United Way.
|
|
CICTA provides long-term, intensive residential treatment for women with serious addictions. Specialized services for pregnant women
are provided. The length of stay is based on individual needs and varies from three to nine months.
The program is managed by the Human Service Center.

Intensive Outpatient Options
|
|
A woman's life is complex. She is expected to play many roles- wife, mother, career woman, and friend. This is why New Leaf is dedicated to the principle that the most appropriate treatment is the least disruptive to one’s life and most cost-effective.

|
Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP) is "real-world recovery." Women who are able to remain free of alcohol and other drugs in a less structured environment can continue their normal activities, including job and family, and still participate fully in treatment. Through group therapy and education, women can increase their self-awareness and develop skills that will help build a new, healthy interpersonal support system and a sober lifestyle.

Amethyst Clinic
|
|
|
|
The Amethyst Clinic, offered at White Oaks Center, is an outpatient day treatment program for women who do not need the structure of inpatient services. Women continue their normal activities, including job and family, and participate fully in treatment.

|
New Leaf Intensive Outpatient Services
|
|
The two women’s IOP programs at New Leaf consist of four, four-hour sessions per week at the White Oaks Center. Individual counseling is also provided throughout the program.
|
|
Project Safe
|
|
Project Safe provides outpatient services for women involved with the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) in the Peoria area. Outreach workers transport individuals to and from treatment, as well as to other appointments.
|
|
Continuing Care
|
|

Phoenix Group
|
If a woman finds herself challenged in recovery by a return to use of alcohol or drugs, she may participate in the Phoenix Group rather than re-enter other treatments. The Phoenix Group is designed to stabilize recovery, examine what went wrong, and revise one’s personal recovery plan to help prevent future relapses. Like any disease, it is important to seek professional help early.

Substance Abuse Outpatient Services

Our outpatient services are designed to treat adolescents who are using or abusing alcohol and/or other drugs. The focus of the group, family, and individual treatment is to help adolescents redirect their lifestyles so that they can be drug-free.

Adolescent Drug Court
|
|
Peoria County Adolescent Drug Treatment Court is a collaborative program of the Peoria County Juvenile Justice System and the Youth and Community Services of White Oaks. Adolescents are referred to court-supervised treatment by the state’s attorney’s office. The judge, the youth probation office, the public defender’s office, and the White Oaks treatment staff work closely to provide adolescents and their families the support they need. Assessment, intervention, education and treatment are available to area adolescents.
